Ibiza Final Boss Jack Kay Shows Off Dramatic Physique Ahead of Boxing Return
Ibiza Final Boss Jack Kay is preparing for his second boxing appearance, but the viral star looks very different from when he first became famous for dancing in Ibiza.
Kay, who rose to prominence after a video of him dancing in Ibiza went viral, has turned his online fame into a full-time career. His work has included brand deals, club appearances, music releases and a Channel 4 documentary.
The social media personality, whose real name is Jack Kay, made his Misfits Boxing debut in April with a victory over rapper Jordan McCann. He is now set to face Gareth Kelly in Newcastle on 12 September.
Kay appears to be taking the upcoming bout more seriously than his first fight. He posted a picture on Instagram showing his impressive physique and wrote:
“Hard work pays off, mentally and physically in the best shape of my life.”
Aside from his distinctive haircut, which has become a defining part of his look, Kay could be almost unrecognisable compared with his earlier viral appearances.
Speaking to The Sun, Kay said: “Training’s going good, very good. I’m ready to go.“I’m taking it a lot serious this time. Last time I didn’t really take it serious, now I’m taking it really seriously.“I know what to do this time. Last time was just a slugfest, but I know what to do this time.”
Kay admitted that his first fight was something of a ‘blur’, but he is clearly determined to make a stronger impression in his second bout. His debut was far from straightforward after he was bitten by McCann during the contest.
The incident gave the fight an unexpected moment of drama, although it was less memorable than Mike Tyson’s infamous biting episode. Kay will now hope his return to the ring is a smoother experience when he faces Kelly in Newcastle.
