McLaren Racing and Edward Jones Expand Partnership Across Formula 1 and IndyCar
McLaren Racing and St. Louis-based financial services firm Edward Jones have announced a new multi-year partnership that will make Edward Jones the Official Private Wealth Management Partner across both Formula 1 and IndyCar. The agreement creates a long-term, year-round presence for Edward Jones across two of global motorsport’s leading racing platforms.
The partnership will begin during the 2026 Formula 1 season, when Edward Jones branding will appear on driver helmet visors at selected races. The company will also maintain a presence at key marquee events throughout the Formula 1 calendar.
Edward Jones’ involvement will expand to IndyCar in 2027. The firm will serve as the primary partner for the #6 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet at the 111th Running of the Indianapolis 500, as well as at additional selected races. Six-time IndyCar Series champion and 2008 Indianapolis 500 winner Scott Dixon was announced last week as the driver of the #6 entry for the full 2027 campaign.
Partnership to Focus on Client and Fan Engagement
Beyond trackside branding, McLaren Racing and Edward Jones said the collaboration will center on client, community and fan engagement. The program will reflect shared operational values including preparation, teamwork, resilience and performance, and will include co-branded digital and social media content.
“Edward Jones has a long history of supporting its clients and communities, and we’re excited to welcome them as McLaren Racing partners,” said Zak Brown, CEO, McLaren Racing. “We have a shared commitment toward preparation and continuous improvement through a peoplefirst culture, making this partnership a natural fit.”
Kevin Thimjon, President, Arrow McLaren, said, “We’re thrilled to begin this relationship with Edward Jones and welcome them to Arrow McLaren and IndyCar racing,” said Kevin Thimjon, President, Arrow McLaren. “With the #6 crew entering an exciting new chapter next season, we look forward to bringing them on board and competing together on some of the biggest stages in motorsports.”
Hema Widhani, Principal and Chief Brand, Experience and Marketing Officer at Edward Jones, said, added, “Whether on a racetrack or in a financial plan, success is rarely the result of a single moment; instead, it’s built through preparation, discipline and thousands of decisions made over time. What excites us most about McLaren Racing is the culture of teamwork, resilience and continuous improvement behind every performance. Those are many of the same principles that help our clients navigate complexity and achieve what’s important to them.”
Why This Matters
The agreement gives Edward Jones a sustained commercial platform across Formula 1 and IndyCar rather than limiting the relationship to a single event or racing series. It also links the company’s private wealth management positioning with McLaren Racing’s wider client, community and fan programs.
The IndyCar element will become especially prominent in 2027, when Scott Dixon leads the #6 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet campaign and Edward Jones takes primary partnership status at the Indianapolis 500. The Formula 1 activation will begin earlier, with branding and event activity scheduled for the 2026 season.
