Glen Hansard, the Oscar-winning star of the movie As soon as, has died aged 56 after a crash in Dublin.
The Irish Independent report that Hansard died in a bike crash, with police being alerted to a collision at 4.30am this morning, Wednesday 29 July. He’s survived by his spouse poet Maire Saaritsa, and his son.
Hansard starred in two main movies in his profession, 1991’s The Commitments and the 2007 movie As soon as, incomes an Oscar for greatest unique track for Falling Slowly.
Hansard is an Irish music legend because the frontman for the band The Frames, releasing six studio albums as a band previous to his dying.
His dying was confirmed in a press release launched by his supervisor to the Irish Unbiased, saying: “With damaged hearts, we announce the passing of Glen Hansard who handed away, within the early hours of this morning, following a street site visitors accident in Dublin.
“Glen’s household is deeply shocked and heartbroken by this tragic loss and respectfully requests privateness at this extraordinarily troublesome time.
“The household is grateful for the assist they’ve acquired and desires to thank the emergency companies who attended the scene.
