Katie Price has reportedly ended her eight-month marriage to Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews after allegedly discovering that his claim of holding millions of pounds in a cryptocurrency wallet was false.
The former glamour model was allegedly ‘promised some of the funds’, but reportedly found that the wallet ‘contained just $3, or £2.22’. A source told The Sun that Price described the alleged deception as ‘the final straw’ in a marriage that began just 48 hours after the couple became engaged in January 2026.
Price, 48, is reportedly consulting a London divorce lawyer. The couple’s relationship had already faced mounting pressure after Andrews disappeared in May and was later found alive in Dubai’s Al Awir Central Prison following a two-week absence.
The 43-year-old Nottinghamshire businessman claimed he had been pulled from his car at gunpoint and detained for ‘espionage’ by the National Guard. However, officials indicated that he had been imprisoned over a private civil matter involving unpaid debts and fraud. He was rearrested in July after allegedly failing to settle outstanding fines and civil debts.
“Naturally Katie is worried Lee might try to get her money, or take half her earnings over the next 12 months,” the source said.
“She does not want to be his next con, and is hoping they can split amicably. It seems unlikely they will stay in touch.”

January 2026: Katie Price and Lee Andrews get married
Price and Andrews married at a Dubai hotel just 48 hours after their engagement, only days after meeting. Fans soon noticed that images on Andrews’ social media accounts featuring figures including Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian appeared to be AI-generated.
Andrews’ former partner Alana Percival and business associate Crystal Janke later reportedly told Price that he was a conman and urged her to leave him.
March 2026: Katie Price rejects ‘conman’ claims
Price defended Andrews against allegations that he was a con artist and said he had attempted to provide evidence of his wealth.
May 2026: Lee Andrews misses a UK television appearance
Andrews was due to appear with Price on Good Morning Britain. When asked whether he had been arrested at the airport, Price said: “No. You know, they just said it to me in there.”
She continued: “So, I just said, ‘Lee, apparently a British man has been detained. Can you just confirm that it’s not you?’ Because I obviously know it’s not him.”
“So, he’s just done a voice note back and laughing emojis. ‘No, it’s not me’ and a voice note. And he’s just sent me pictures.”
In a video shared on her YouTube channel, Price filmed herself calling Andrews after her appearance on GMB and telling him: “None of them believe you’re coming at all. The fact is, you’ve just got to get here and prove everyone wrong.”
She added: “They’re like, ‘Kate, do you know anything about this man?'”
Katie Price asks the public to help find her husband
Price said, ‘the truth is, Lee has been missing for three days’.
“Lee was trying to get through the border near Hatta and, oh God, this is so discombobulating,” she said. “His location went off at 10:03, Wednesday night, that’s the last contact anyone’s had, his family and me.”
“This is the third day now, obviously, he phoned me before the location went off. He’s in the middle of nowhere, obviously, I’m worried.”
Price added that ‘the last FaceTime call I had with him… he had ties around his hand and a hood’
“He sounded really worried and said like whispering, ‘They’re coming for me now. They’re coming for me. I’ve got to go’,” she explained.
According to The Sun, Andrews’ family filed a missing-person report with the British Embassy in Dubai.
“Lee is officially a missing person now,” a source told the outlet.
“Katie is in constant contact with his family and is desperately worried. And she’s mortified — she’s seen people calling it a stunt and that she must be in on it, but she’s absolutely not.”
“This is such a worrying, upsetting situation.”
Lee Andrews’ father says he has been arrested
Andrews’ father, Peter, told the Daily Mail: “Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don’t know on what charge.”
“I’m not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today.”
Price disputed the claim on Instagram, writing: “THIS IS FAKE NEWES [sic] LEE IS STILL MISSING ME AND HIS FAMILY KNOW WHATS GOING ON AND WORKING WITH THE AUTHORITIES INVOLVED.”
Peter maintained that his son was ‘not at my house’, where Andrews had been living before becoming involved with Price.
Price also shared a song on Instagram, writing: “Missing my husband so much it breaks my heart knowing he is still missing so I did this song quick as words mean so much to the situation.”
June 2026: Katie Price gives Lee Andrews an ultimatum
After reports that Andrews needed £140,000 to secure his release from Dubai’s Al Awir jail, The Sun reported that he had asked Price to create a GoFundMe campaign to raise money from the public, despite his previous claims of being a millionaire.
The outlet alleged that Price responded: “No one will do that for you, Lee, trust me. Everyone hates you.”
Katie Price and Lee Andrews reunite
Price travelled to Dubai and was photographed leaping into Andrews’ arms. The couple later went to Vox Dubai, an outdoor cinema, to watch a World Cup match.
In an Instagram video, Andrews said he was ‘captured by men with assault rifles’ and ‘taken to a black site’.
He insisted: “At no point have I faced anything to do with fraud allegations or any criminal activities such as that.”
Peter Andre responds to adoption claims
In a Father’s Day message recorded for a fan on Cameo, Andrews said he had ‘adopted five’ children.
“I haven’t got children, but we’re trying. I’ve adopted five of them. I love my wife, and I love her children,” the businessman said.
Peter Andre, who shares Junior, 21, and Princess, 18, with Price, said through his representative that the children ‘haven’t even met him’.
July 2026: Lee Andrews is rearrested
Weeks after securing temporary release, Andrews was arrested again on 11 July 2026. He was allegedly attempting to settle a separate £120,000 financial demand at Lahbab police station.
September 2026: Katie Price reportedly ends the marriage
Price has reportedly ended the relationship via WhatsApp after allegedly discovering that Andrews’ claims of being a multi-millionaire with £37 million were untrue.
A source told The Sun that ‘the marriage is done’ and that ‘she will never go to Dubai to see Lee again’.
“It was, of course, an accumulation of many things but the final straw came after Lee had told Katie he had $50million (£37 million) in a crypto wallet, and promised her some of the funds,” the source claimed. “He gave her the ‘recovery phrase’ — the passkey — to get into his account, and on Monday she had a financial expert access the wallet — and, to her shock, discovered it contained just $3, or £2.22.”
LADbible Group has contacted Katie Price’s representatives for comment.
