Sadie Sink has made her Calvin Klein debut in a Fall 2026 denim campaign, and Marvel fans believe the advertisement contains a playful reference to her upcoming role as Jean Grey.
Sink, 24, rose to fame as Max Mayfield in Stranger Things before joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Her Calvin Klein campaign, titled “Feel the Fit,” features the actor promoting jeans—a detail fans have connected to the X-Men mutant’s name.

Calvin Klein has released several pieces of content since launching the campaign. In the first Instagram video, Sink lies on a bed before picking up a pair of jeans from the floor. She then wiggles into them on the bed and dances around the bedroom.
“Feel the fit. Calvin Klein,” Sink says at the end of the clip.
Several videos and photos of the Romeo & Juliet actor have since been shared as part of the campaign, showing her wearing the denim. Fans quickly pointed out what they saw as a missed opportunity: “Grey jeans would have been even better.”
Another fan wrote: “Missed opportunity for Jeans Grey advertising.”
“Come on, guys, how come her jeans are not grey?,” a third wrote.

Other fans focused on the small Marvel connection, commenting: “JEAAAAAAN GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEY.”
“JEAN grey,” others echoed, with many agreeing that Sink is truly ‘in Hollywood’ now that she is working with Calvin Klein.
Additional clips show Sink being soaked by an exploding tap and an overflowing sink as she puts on her jeans. The scenes also appear to offer a tongue-in-cheek reference to her surname and Jean Grey’s superhero powers.
Sadie Sink’s upcoming Marvel role
Sink will play the mutant in Marvel’s upcoming X-Men movie, which is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 5 May, 2028.
She will appear alongside Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Maya Boyd as Storm and Adam Driver as Nathaniel Essex, also known as Mister Sinister.
