Below Deck Mediterranean Star Nathan Gallagher Wanted on Australian Arrest Warrant
Below Deck Mediterranean star Nathan Gallagher is wanted in Australia after allegedly missing a court hearing linked to domestic violence charges.
New South Wales Police said on social media that an arrest warrant had been issued for the 28-year-old reality television star and warned the public ‘not to approach him’.
Sharing a mugshot of Gallagher, the force wrote:
“Have you seen Nathan Gallagher? A warrant has been issued for the 28-year-old’s arrest.
“He is known to frequent the Ermington and Melrose Park areas, and is believed to be offshore.
“Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged not to approach him, but to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.”
Gallagher was due to appear in court on Tuesday (1 September) in connection with the charges but did not attend.
Nathan Gallagher assault charges
Gallagher was arrested on 27 December after allegedly assaulting a 29-year-old woman in Sydney on Boxing Day. According to News.com.au, he was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, choking without consent and common assault.
The Below Deck Mediterranean star pleaded not guilty and was released on conditional bail.
Gallagher addressed the arrest in a statement to Rolling Stone last month. He told the outlet:
“I don’t believe the public has heard the full story surrounding what happened.”
He added:
‘what has been publicly reported, however, represents only one side of what was an extremely complicated situation’
His statement continued in part:
“I’m not claiming I was perfect. I wasn’t. I made mistakes and I will take responsibility for my own actions. But I will not accept being portrayed solely through one person’s account of a relationship when there is another side and evidence relating to it.”

Judge issues arrest warrant in Gallagher case
During Tuesday’s hearing, prosecutor Sergeant Aruzza told the court:
“We believe the defendant is offshore at this time.”
Judge Janine Lacy convicted Gallagher in his absence and issued an arrest warrant.
“Given the serious nature of offences, and I note on the record I have been given documentation from immigration compliance operations division that he is currently overseas,” Judge Lacy told the court“The defendant doesn’t have any prior criminal history but the offences are very serious, with significant maximum penalties, and [the] context of DV committed in the home.”“I record a conviction and issue a [arrest] warrant,” the judge concluded.
Gallagher is currently appearing in season 11 of Below Deck Mediterranean, which was filmed last year before his arrest. Production on season 12 of the Bravo reality series is underway, and Gallagher has been confirmed not to be returning for the upcoming season.
