A Reddit post shared to r/mildlyinfuriating by user VQQN has drawn widespread attention after a disabled man was allegedly blocked from accessible parking by a group of motorcycles. The post, which had accumulated approximately 12,000 upvotes at the time of publication, included four photographs showing motorcycles parked in spaces marked with blue lines and the wheelchair symbol.
Disabled Father Unable to Access Handicap Parking
According to the poster, their disabled father could not find accessible parking because “all the spots” were occupied by what they described as a biker gang. The most prominent vehicle in the images is a large black Harley-Davidson touring model. A white building and an ice storage chest are visible in the background, along with a sign reading “STEAK ‘N POTATO”.
Community Response: Legal Action and Towing Suggested
Commenters quickly offered practical advice. One wrote, “Call the cops. They need to move. This is illegal.” Another proposed having the motorcycles towed rather than interacting with the riders directly. Many expressed frustration that accessible parking spaces — designed to give people with disabilities easier access — were being misused.
Discussion Turns to Motorcycle Culture and Noise
The conversation expanded to broader complaints about motorcycle noise and group riding behavior. Several users described being disturbed by groups of riders revving engines or leaving restaurants louder than necessary.
Commenters Identify Possible Extremist Symbolism
As users examined the photographs more closely, some reported noticing what appeared to be SS-style bolts or similar imagery on several of the motorcycles. According to the Anti-Defamation League, SS bolts were adopted by white supremacists and neo-Nazis worldwide after World War II and remain in use as a symbol of white supremacy.
One commenter stated, “Uh, that’s not a biker gang. That’s a Nazi gang,” while another claimed the symbols were present on many of the bikes. Additional users referenced alleged links between certain biker groups and white supremacy movements, though the Daily Dot noted these wider claims could not be independently verified.
The original Reddit post was titled: “My Dad who is disabled could not park in a handicap spot due to all the spots being taken by a biker gang.”
