TikTok user Kae, known as @lolxdlolxdlolxd23455, shared a series of unusual experiences from his time working at Walmart after being fired from the retailer. His video detailing these incidents has garnered over 71,600 likes and 714 comments.

In the TikTok post, Kae wrote, “Working at Walmart was definitely experienced. The customers were absolutely insane. Definitely don’t recommend. #fired #unemployedfriend #storytimestiktok #igotfired”

Kae explained in the video that company policy prevented him from sharing these stories while employed. Following his termination, he felt free to recount several memorable encounters.

Unusual Customer Encounters

One story involved a man who entered the store wearing prison clothing. The customer asked to try on other garments, so Kae escorted him to a fitting room. According to Kae, the man subsequently left the store without paying for the items.

Kae also described multiple interactions with elderly shoppers. He stated a coworker once witnessed someone defecate on the sales floor. In another instance, a customer inquired about adult toys, while an elderly woman asked whether a pair of children’s underwear would fit her cat.

Fitting Room Frustration

During the July Fourth weekend, Kae recalled a customer addressing him as “Mr. Happy to help,” referencing the phrase printed on Walmart employee vests. The shopper requested access to the fitting room, but Kae said he did not possess the key.

The customer’s wife wanted to try on pantyhose, and the man questioned how Kae would know if they looked good without a fitting room trial.

Inappropriate Conduct

Kae further alleged that shoppers occasionally touched employees inappropriately, leaving staff members uncomfortable during their shifts.

He concluded the video by offering to create a TikTok series about his Walmart experiences, which sparked a wave of responses from viewers.

Commenters Share Similar Stories

The discussion attracted numerous comments from current and former retail workers. One person wrote, “There are always the weirdest people at Walmart.” Another added, “I used to work in a jail and I’ve worked at Walmart. They’re very similar.”

Some viewers expressed hesitation about pursuing employment at the chain. One commenter with an upcoming interview stated, “Ok so I am respectfully NOT going to my interview on Saturday.” Another wrote, “I’m scared yep I’m never working at Walmart.”

Kae’s video prompted a broader conversation about the unpredictable situations retail employees can face, with many users requesting additional stories and sharing their own experiences.

The Daily Dot was unable to independently verify the incidents described in Kae’s videos, which are based on his personal account of his experiences while working at Walmart.
