Travis Kelce is celebrating married life—and proudly showing off his new wedding ring.
The 36-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end returned to the New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, for the new season on Wednesday, Sept. 2. During the episode, Travis gave listeners a close-up look at the detailed gold band he received after marrying Taylor Swift on July 3.
“You’re finally married!” Jason, 38, declared. Travis grinned, held up his hand and replied, “I am a married man.”
Kelce has been seen wearing the ring at Chiefs training camp, but this marked the first time he had shown fans such a detailed view of the piece. The gold band features an engraved criss-cross pattern wrapped around it, along with additional intricate details.

During the podcast, Kelce also discussed his intimate wedding to Swift at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
“It’s a night out we’ll never forget,” Travis recalled of the ceremony.
He added, “Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, from the vows to just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had, throughout the entire evening and hearing that, kind of be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night. And it was just so magical, man.”
Kelce explained that privacy was a major reason the couple selected the famed sports arena as their wedding venue.
“We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions. And we needed it to be a private feel,” he said on the podcast. “And MSG went above and beyond to give us that.”
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s summer plans
In the nearly two months since the wedding, Kelce has focused on preparing for the upcoming NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs. The team’s tight end spent much of the summer at training camp in Missouri.
The Chiefs lost 20-12 to the Los Angeles Rams in a preseason game on Aug. 15. Kansas City will open its regular-season schedule against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 14.
Since getting married, Kelce and Swift have also attended weddings and traveled separately. Days after their own ceremony, they attended the California wedding of Kelce’s teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster. Swift later traveled to London for the wedding of her recording engineers Oli Jacobs and Laura Sisk.
Kelce previously spoke about the couple’s Madison Square Garden wedding in mid-August, saying, “MSG, man, you know, I always told myself I go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking, and my wife went when I was stuck in minicamp, I didn’t get my opportunity to go then,” referencing Swift’s attendance at the New York Knicks’ Game 4 win during the NBA Finals.
“It’s kind of cool, you know, to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the Mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there … It was perfect,” he added at the time.
