Kai Trump is preparing for college with support from her mother, Vanessa Trump. The 19-year-old recently shared a glimpse of the apartment-shopping trip and preparations for this new stage of her life.
Kai Trump shops for college apartment with Vanessa Trump
In an Instagram video, Kai expressed her gratitude for having Vanessa by her side as she gets ready to move into her apartment. The young golfer said she and her mother spent “HOURS” buying everything she needed and preparing for her “new chapter of college life.”
Kai also thanked Vanessa for her support, calling her “the BEST mom.” Their shopping trip included household essentials, toiletries, bedding and cleaning supplies, while they also dealt with an issue involving Kai’s furniture delivery.
Vanessa said she was already tired from traveling back and forth to the apartment and moving Kai’s belongings. “Well, I kind of messed up the furniture delivery, so she went and drove to Miami yesterday,” Kai explained. Vanessa added that she made the trip “to wait for three deliveries.”
“They sent it back,” Kai said, while Vanessa recalled, “It was during rush hour too, so it was fun times.”
As they continued shopping, Vanessa joked that Kai already had more than enough clothes. “She’s going to open up a clothing store with all the clothes she has.”
Vanessa also reminded Kai that she would be responsible for cleaning the apartment herself. Kai joked about asking her mother for help if the bathroom became messy, but Vanessa responded, “She is going to learn how to do that, or else it’ll just stay a mess.”
With college approaching, Kai is beginning to learn what it takes to manage a home of her own. For now, Vanessa is helping ensure that her daughter has the essentials she needs for this next chapter.
