Apple will hold its next product launch event at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, on September 9, the company announced Wednesday.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. Pacific time. Media invitations feature the tagline “Surprise and shine” alongside a glowing Apple logo.
New iPhones and Apple Watches expected
Analysts expect Apple to unveil new iPhone and Apple Watch models during the event, including the company’s first foldable phone.
Apple also announced new Mac Mini and Mac Studio models this week. The computers are scheduled to ship on September 22.
Apple prepares new Siri AI assistant
Apple is expected to launch a new version of Siri called Siri AI. The assistant will use modern large language model technology to work with apps such as messaging and calendars.
The event will be Apple’s first with CEO John Ternus at the helm. Current Apple CEO Tim Cook is stepping down and will become the company’s executive chairman on September 1.
