Erin Kate Dolan Offers Behind-the-Scenes Look on Social Media
ESPN sports betting analyst Erin Kate Dolan sparked widespread engagement across social media after publishing an eight-photo carousel on Instagram. Offering followers a glimpse into her daily routine, the multimedia personality featured moments spanning her television production work, social gatherings with friends, and a rare candid snapshot alongside Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm.
Accompanied by a concise caption reading “Behind the scenes!”, Dolan’s post included snapshots tied to her on-air appearances on Sunday NFL Countdown, visits to baseball stadiums, and off-camera moments outside ESPN studios. Despite the professional focus of the carousel, Dolan’s photograph alongside Bohm quickly emerged as the primary focal point of discussion among sports fans and followers online.
From Penn State to ESPN: Dolan’s Media Ascent
Dolan has established herself as one of ESPN’s prominent analysts dedicated to sports betting coverage. She officially joined the network in December 2021 and has steadily expanded her footprint across flagship studio broadcasts and digital platforms, regularly contributing to programs such as ESPN BET Live and Sunday NFL Countdown.
Prior to arriving at ESPN, Dolan honed her expertise in betting analysis and reporting through tenures at FanDuel, PointsBet, B/R Betting, and SiriusXM. Her media foundation was constructed in Philadelphia, where she served as a sports reporter for local station PHL17 and reported from the sidelines for the Philadelphia Wings national lacrosse team. Academically, Dolan graduated summa cum laude from Penn State University in 2018 with a degree in broadcast journalism, enabling her to capitalize on the rapid integration of gaming analysis across mainstream American sports television.

Inside the Relationship with Phillies Third Baseman Alec Bohm
Interest in Dolan’s life off-camera grew substantially as rumors circulated regarding her connection to Major League Baseball player Alec Bohm. After months of speculation, Dolan formally acknowledged the romance in February 2025 during an interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer.
“Yes, I’m dating Alec Bohm, everyone knows it,” the journalist told the outlet at the time. The confirmation occurred shortly before the Super Bowl in New Orleans, an event Bohm attended alongside her.
Throughout their relationship, both figures have chosen to remain largely discreet, deliberately limiting their shared public appearances and social media visibility. Consequently, any rare photographic appearance of the Phillies infielder on Dolan’s channels tends to draw significant public interest. While their shared appearance in the latest post remains understated, it presents an infrequent peek into a partnership that both figures actively shield from the constant glare of celebrity spotlight.
Why This Matters
The intersection of Dolan’s flourishing broadcasting profile and Bohm’s role on the Philadelphia Phillies highlights the intersection of modern sports media and professional athletics. As ESPN continues investing heavily in dedicated sports gaming content via properties like ESPN BET, Dolan has emerged as a central figure in this programming shift. While navigating demanding schedules in high-profile sports roles, the couple has drawn sustained public interest precisely because they have kept their personal life largely insulated from public exposure.
