  • The EURØP stablecoin is now live on XRPL, offering fully regulated Euro liquidity for EU institutions and individuals.
  • Schuman Financial supports the EURØP with audited reserves and promotes MiCA-compliant payments, DeFi and tokenized RWA.

The XRP Ledger has officially added EURØP, Europe’s first Euro stablecoin fully compliant with MiCA regulations, to SwissBorg. With the launch, XRPL has secured a position among the first payment networks to operate under strict regulatory standards. It now offers EU customers a secure and transparent digital asset in euros.

EURØP is pegged to the euro at a ratio of 1:1 and backed by institutional reserves. Schuman.io developed the stablecoin, and KPMG audits the reserves quarterly. The integration of the EURØP token into SwissBorg allows investors to securely hold euros on-chain while complying with European digital finance regulations.

Crypto regulations in the EU govern how stablecoins are issued, stored, audited and traded. Only tokens that follow these rules are permitted in the EU. Banks, FinTechs, corporate treasuries and money transfer companies can freely use MiCA-approved tokens such as EURØP.

SwissBorg expands euro access with fully regulated EURØP

SwissBorg highlighted the increased transparency and stability that the EURØP listing brings. The addition of EURØP highlights the company’s role in promoting regulated innovation and provides users with easy access to a stable euro option under MiCA.

Schuman Financial holds an EMT issuance license from the French ACPR, which ensures that EURÖP reserves are stored and fully audited at major European banks. Thanks to this regulatory protection, the EURÖP can serve as a reliable euro alternative. It offers compliant and secure liquidity for both institutions and private customers on the European market.

With EURØP active on XRPL, the Euro is now supported on the blockchain. XRPL has processed more than 3.3 billion transactions and has more than six million active wallets, including support for regulated stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets and blockchain payments in European digital finance.

The launch of the service enables Euro-denominated Web3 applications such as DeFi, tokenized real-world assets, and B2B and B2C payments. EURØP provides secure on-chain Euro liquidity solutions for institutions and individuals and promotes the adoption of regulated Euro-denominated assets within the European blockchain community.

Germany’s DZ BANK has integrated a blockchain custody solution on XRPL using Ripple’s infrastructure to manage tokenized assets under the eWpG. It is the first comprehensive implementation of XRPL custody by a German financial institution and shows the growing acceptance of a regulated infrastructure for digital assets.
