VEChain vote on the first Vebetter funding application is running-fashion should also be sustainable

According to the proposal, Reuse will reward the purchase of second-hand clothing with B3TR-tokens and encourage users to make environmentally friendly decisions and to pursue their effects on the blockchain.
The app enables users to upload receipts and pictures of their second-hand purchases and to receive rewards for their actions. The most important indicators of effects are waste reduction, carbon savings and water savings. Over time, Reuse will add loyalty premiums, multipliers to a shop base and impact dashboards. Verified shops are added as future features, users can vote with VOT3 tokens and use their B3TR tokens within the vebetter ecosystem.
The voting data of the last update show that 491 wallets have participated, 65.6% yes, 29.8% no, 4.5% abstention. However, a quorum was not achieved. The team behind Reuse consists of Hershel (Business Lead) and Yoel (Technical Lead). The grant was submitted by grantteam.veworld.vet.
Funding is used to start the main network, the integration of the wallet, the verification system, marketing and the recording of second-hand retailers. Milestone 1 is the introduction of smart contracts and reaching 5,000 users in 4 months. Milestone 2 is the integration of local shops, the achievement of 10,000 users and 4,000 monthly active users in 8 months.
Vebetterdao vote shows community posture for grants and loans
The Vebetterdetao subsidy system has a dual approval process, a coordination in the community and an evaluation by the Vechain Foundation. While many community members support the Reuse proposal, some concerns about the subsidy model have expressed.

Vebetter Subsidy Promotion Program stands for benefits and sustainability
Reuse is one of the first DAPPS to apply as part of the newly designed Vebetterdao subsidy program. According to the Vechain Foundation, the program is now slimmer, driven by the community and focuses on the financing of sustainable blockchain innovations. The grants are milestone -based and require the applicants to prove tangible, real effects.
The program includes two areas: one for x-to-ear applications with measurable sustainability benefit and another for the infrastructure of the ecosystem. The X-to-Eearn rail, which is relevant for Reuse, enables up to $ 30,000 in B3TR-tokens per approved project.
The requirements include a demo, a prototype or an MVP as well as the integration with Vebetterdao using B3TR as a reward mechanism. The projects are assessed according to technical feasibility, contribution to the ecosystem, innovation and orientation towards the goals for sustainable development of the UN.
As already mentioned by CNF, the Vechain Foundation led the success of the Mugshot app as proof of the concept of Vebetterdao. Mugshot had over 1 million users, 6.9 million sustainable actions and a reduction in CO2 footprint by 255,354 kg. Similar to Mugshot, Reuse will also promote acceptance through gamification, rewards and the persecution of behavior in the real world.
The Reuse team was also involved in the community early on. It has applied for a Creator NFT, took part in Vefam discussions and outlined a roadmap that includes mobile apps, store integrations, API development and sustainability certifications.
The safety features of the app include the formal verification of smart contracts, compliance with the GDPR, encrypted storage, algorithms for fraud detection, identification through machine learning and tools for the reporting of the community.
According to the foundation, the proposal reflects the spirit of Vebetterdao – the combination of blockchain with environmental measures and community governance. The result now depends on whether enough wallet coordinates before the seven -day window closes.
