Vechain releases the new “Build Your Body” (BYB) app, which is to be presented at the UFC International Fight Week. The BYB app was developed in the vebetter system, is intended to reward sporting activity and promote a healthier lifestyle.
The platform uses B3TR token as a reward for completed workouts, constant efforts and the achievement of fitness goals. Vechain continues his mission to combine real sustainability goals with the benefit of the blockchain.
Blockchain-supported fitness incentives
According to Vechain, BYB was developed to transform daily fitness activities into tangible, understandable results on the blockchain. Users can earn B3TR tokens for their activity, whereby the app records data from workouts and fitness milestones.
The initiative aims at behavioral incentives, not on financial speculation, and focuses on public health, one of the 17 sustainability goals of the United Nations. Sunny Lu, CEO von Vechain, says:
