Strategy CEO Comments on Bull Market, Says Company Has No Plans to Sell BTC

Strategy CEO Phong Le says Bitcoin has entered a strong bull market and confirmed that the company has no plans to sell its $BTC holdings. In an interview with Bloomberg, Le said Strategy will maintain its Bitcoin accumulation strategy and could continue buying even if the cryptocurrency’s price rises significantly.

Strategy plans to keep buying Bitcoin at higher prices

Le said Strategy would continue making Bitcoin purchases if the asset reached $80,000, $90,000, $100,000 or $130,000. He added that if Bitcoin eventually climbed to $260,000, investors could look back on purchases made at $130,000 as successful investments.

Strategy is one of the largest companies to place Bitcoin at the center of its institutional treasury strategy. The company has pursued a long-term approach by regularly increasing the amount of Bitcoin on its balance sheet. Le’s latest comments indicate that Strategy will not abandon its accumulation policy despite fluctuations in the $BTC price.

Bitcoin’s limited supply supports Strategy’s long-term outlook

Strategy’s decision to hold rather than sell Bitcoin reflects its expectation that the crypto asset will appreciate over the long term. Company management points to Bitcoin’s limited supply and growing institutional adoption as factors that could provide lasting support for its price.

Le’s assessment shows that Strategy is focused on Bitcoin’s long-term potential rather than short-term market movements. Even purchases made at prices as high as $130,000 could be considered reasonable in retrospect if Bitcoin were to reach $260,000.

Strategy’s aggressive Bitcoin accumulation policy distinguishes the company from traditional institutional investors, while also increasing its balance-sheet exposure to a decline in the $BTC price. Despite that risk, Le has given no indication that the company plans to change its current strategy.

The view that Bitcoin has entered a strong bull market supports expectations that Strategy could continue making large-scale $BTC purchases. Market participants are closely monitoring the company’s future acquisitions and changes in its Bitcoin reserves.
