  • Shiba Inu has revised its meta-verse hubs with improved textures and optimized shaders, which significantly reduced the GPU load.
  • The users are now experiencing more fluid runs, faster loading times and stable graphics on all devices.

Shiba Inu dividedits meta -verse is currently in a new restructuring phase, which is characterized by significant technical upgrades that are supposed to fix previous performance problems. The announcement was made via the project’s X-HaupCOUNT, where the team described the upgrades carried out in three of its centers: Bark Park, Tech Trench and Shib Station.

In these areas, there were delays and crashes beforehand, which caused the development team to rethink the assignment of GPU resources. Over 200 textures were reduced from 512 × 512 to 2048 × 2048, and overlapping cards were combined to simplify the materials. This was followed by a standardization process that contributed to reducing excessive shader use, which often pushed to the limits of the GPU.

The update aimed at visual delays and hardware support. The GPU memory utilization fell by 15 to 25 %, according to the team. The adjustments were made with a view to mid-range and low-end devices, since these systems had stability with regular use of the meta verse.

Targeted streaming increases the meta versestability

Another focus of the last patch was texture streaming. The developers have opted for a selective MIP streaming approach, in which the higher-resolution textures are only used if necessary. This decision ensures a liquid representation and at the same time accelerates the rendering process.

Players who visit the Tech Trench, Bark Park or Shib Station will now experience a shorter loading time without having to compromise on graphics quality. After the upgrade, it was confirmed:

“No more crashes during the run, no more stuttering at spawn points, only smooth, optimized meta-verse exploration.”

The team pointed out that these are not theoretical concepts, but live inserts that are already going.

The updates are part of a more comprehensive strategy that started with Shib’s soft launch: The Metavers in December 2024. Early access took place via Windows PCs and large browser platforms such as Chrome. Since then, performance problems have been a major problem for users who wanted to explore the experience.

Shib develops from the theoretical concept for real application

The development does not stop at optimization. The team is currently working on a mobile app for Shib: The Metaverse. The fishing game is also in production. Although no official publication date has yet been announced, the mini-game will be part of the future in-game industry for ShIB.

Shiba Inu chief developer Shytoshi Kusama also mentioned July 2025 as an important time for the Shib community. This month he described as a “AI month” and pointed out plans to link artificial intelligence with the Shib ecosystem. It is expected that a detailed report on AI, the Shy-token and their integration will promote the acceptance of Shib in technology-based environments.

These developments show a more stable phase in the plans of Shib. With a stronger infrastructure, fewer crash problems and clear advances in mobile integration, Shib develops from early ideas into something more practical with visible results.
