
Tourette’s campaigner John Davidson made headlines at yesterday’s (23 February) BAFTAs, as could possibly be heard shouting quite a few occasions in the course of the ceremony.
The Brit has now launched an announcement in regards to the state of affairs which has left him ‘mortified’.
“I used to be in attendance to have fun the movie of my life, I Swear, which, greater than any movie or TV documentary, explains the origins, situation, traits, and manifestations of Tourette Syndrome,” his assertion to Deadline learn.
He went on: “I’ve spent my life attempting to help and empower the Tourette’s group and to show empathy, kindness and understanding from others and I’ll proceed to take action. I selected to depart the auditorium early into the ceremony as I used to be conscious of the misery my tics had been inflicting.”
Davidson, who was recognized with Tourette’s syndrome, was heard saying the N-word within the BBC’s broadcast of the awards which was initially uploaded to iPlayer.

Davidson had developed tics and uncontrollable vocalisations as a youngster, and was shouting due to involuntary tics introduced on by the situation.
