British Airways drops funding for Louis Theroux podcast after Bob Vylan episode

British Airways has dropped its funding for The Louis Theroux podcast following its episode that includes the frontman of Bob Vylan.

Also called Pascal Robinson-Foster, Bobby Vylan, was interviewed by the documentary legend within the podcast launched earlier this week.

This comes after months of controversy for the punk duo after Vylan led chants of ‘loss of life, loss of life to the IDF’ (Israel Defence Forces) throughout their efficiency at Glastonbury Competition which was reside streamed within the BBC’s protection.

It was first reported by the Jewish Information that the airline was pausing its sponsorship of the podcast produced by Theroux’s firm, Mindhouse Productions.

“Our sponsorship of the sequence has now been paused and the advert has been eliminated,” a spokesperson later stated in a press release to LADbible.

“We’re grateful that this was dropped at our consideration, because the content material clearly breaches our sponsorship coverage in relation to politically delicate or controversial topic issues.

“We and our third-party media company have processes in place to make sure these points don’t happen and we’re investigating how this occurred.”

In the course of the episode, Vylan stated he had been shocked by the large response to the mantra at Glastonbury.
