Amber Glenn Moves Forward During a Tense Week
Amber Glenn is putting her best foot forward in her appearance on Dancing With the Stars. Her update comes as the program moves through a tense week defined by the suspension of professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy.
The suspension places Glenn’s participation within a difficult context for the show. Rather than the latest routine, score or result, the central development concerns comments made by Chmerkovskiy about Carrie Ann Inaba, who serves as a judge on Dancing With the Stars.
Val Chmerkovskiy Suspended Over Online Comments
Chmerkovskiy was suspended following online comments about Inaba. The professional dancer’s disciplinary action is the clearest confirmed development in the current report and has been a defining part of the tense week surrounding Dancing With the Stars.
The wording of Chmerkovskiy’s comments, the duration of his suspension and whether an appeal was filed are not included in the source update. What is confirmed is that the suspension involved online remarks about a judge whose evaluations are central to the program.
What the Update Confirms About Amber Glenn
For Glenn, the immediate story is her continued involvement in Dancing With the Stars while the program deals with the Chmerkovskiy suspension. The update does not provide a score, routine, broadcast date or elimination result, so Glenn’s appearance is presented as moving forward against the backdrop of the week’s controversy.
Why This Matters
The situation demonstrates that conduct outside the dance floor can affect a professional’s role on a competition series. Chmerkovskiy’s online comments concerned Carrie Ann Inaba, a judge whose evaluations help determine the show’s outcomes, while his suspension is already shaping the context in which Amber Glenn is competing.
Further reporting would be needed to establish how long Chmerkovskiy will remain suspended, whether he resumes dancing and whether the controversy changes the competitive path for Glenn or the rest of the program.
