Grandpa interacts with Alexa.
Technology nowadays has surely advanced to a level where humanoid robots dancing with humans has turned into something that ‘everyone saw coming’- as per the internet- however, the same can still NOT erase the fact that such advancements were next to nothing until a few decades ago. Keeping that in mind, watching the older generation struggling with using today’s advanced tech isn’t something extremely surprising. Recently, the internet was reminded of something similar in the most hilarious manner, when a video of an elderly man interacting with Amazon’s Alexa for the first time, was shared online. The clip showed the 80-year-old grandpa confused over the concept of ‘talking’ to a little device that was kept in front of him. Regardless, he processed by asking if ‘pizza and sausages’ works for Alexa. The interaction was quick in turning into a funny disaster after Alexa confused the entire question with ‘underwears’.
The video went viral in an instant, leaving people rolling on the floor out of laughter. The post was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘hominique_’. The post was shared a while back and pulled more than 246K likes from people.
