Kyler Gordon will miss at least the first four games of the 2026 season after the Chicago Bears kept the defensive back on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.

The Bears announced Gordon’s status Sunday while unveiling their initial 53-man roster. Gordon dealt with multiple injuries last season and has been sidelined this summer with a calf injury.

Linebacker Noah Sewell and defensive lineman Shemar Turner will also remain on the PUP list to begin the regular season.

Chicago waived wide receivers Maurice Alexander, Kaden Davis, Omari Kelly and JP Richardson; offensive linemen Kiran Amegadjie, Caden Barnett, Kyle Hergel, Jaren Kump and Mason Murphy; defensive backs Beanie Bishop, Anthony Johnson, Dontae Manning, Deantre Prince, Marlen Sewell, Terell Smith and William Wright; linebackers Antonio Grier, Ruben Hyppolite and Wayne Matthews; tight end Qadir Ismail; defensive lineman Jeremiah Martin; and quarterback Miller Moss.

Amid the roster moves, the Bears also announced that they activated punter Tory Taylor.
