Initial reports indicated the two-time Pro Bowler was expected to miss “a game or two”, but the organization now believes there is a realistic chance he suits up for the Week 2 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers on September 20.

Sources told Schefter that the Raiders will evaluate Bowers’ progress throughout the upcoming week of practice. A potential return for the divisional road game in Los Angeles remains on the table, contingent on how the knee responds to increased workload.
