Katie Price has reportedly ended her eight-month marriage to Lee Andrews after discovering that his cryptocurrency wallet contained just £2.22, despite his alleged claim that it held $50 million (£37 million).
The reality star, 48, is said to have married Andrews just 48 hours after their sudden engagement in January. A source told The Sun that “the marriage is done” and that “she will never go to Dubai to see Lee again”.
“It was, of course, an accumulation of many things but the final straw came after Lee had told Katie he had $50million (£37 million) in a crypto wallet, and promised her some of the funds,” the source claimed. “He gave her the ‘recovery phrase’ — the passkey — to get into his account, and on Monday she had a financial expert access the wallet — and, to her shock, discovered it contained just $3, or £2.22.”
According to the outlet, Price ended the relationship with Andrews over WhatsApp, writing: “I have been played and you are not who you say you are. Why have you lied to me?”
The mother of five has reportedly contacted a London divorce lawyer about ending the marriage. “Naturally Katie is worried Lee might try to get her money, or take half her earnings over the next 12 months,” the source added. “She does not want to be his next con, and is hoping they can split amicably. It seems unlikely they will stay in touch.
“She has all the receipts — the screenshots, voice notes and the AI fakery. It’s little secret that she wants to make a documentary, Tinder Swindler-style, so that is now the plan.
“Hopefully some good can come out of all this — in what has been yet another turbulent year in the life of Katie Price.”
Who is Lee Andrews?
Andrews, a 43-year-old businessman originally from Nottinghamshire, reportedly claimed to be a multimillionaire and had lived in Dubai for more than 21 years.
However, images shared on his social media accounts featuring people including Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian appeared to be AI-generated. Andrews was also described as the CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027 and an ‘investor in SpaceX Hybrid Fitness.’
The reported drama escalated in May 2026, when Andrews disappeared, prompting a two-week international missing-person search.
He was eventually found alive inside Dubai’s Al Awir Central Prison. Andrews reportedly told Price that he had been pulled from his car at gunpoint and detained for ‘espionage’ by the National Guard. Officials, however, indicated that he had been imprisoned over a private civil matter involving unpaid debts and fraud.
