$XRP ETFs extend inflow streak to nine days
Spot $XRP ETFs attracted $26.2 million on August 28, extending their inflow streak to nine consecutive days, according to SoSoValue data. The funds collected more than $725 million during that nine-day period.
Cumulative net inflows reached approximately $1.6 billion, while total net assets stood at roughly the same level. Daily inflows have varied significantly, ranging from about $2.4 million to more than $28 million.
“$XRP ETF flows have been surprisingly resilient. Money in the aggregate has mostly only gone one direction and now they have a total of $1.8 billion in cumulative net inflows. When you look at this compared $XRP price over this time period … its particularly impressive,” posted James Seyffart on X.
Seyffart’s own calculations put cumulative net inflows at approximately $1.8 billion, above the figure reported by SoSoValue. Comparing the funds’ performance with $XRP’s price over the same period, Seyffart described the inflow run as “particularly impressive.”
$XRP was the exception among major crypto assets this week, continuing to attract capital as Bitcoin ETFs ended a nine-day inflow streak.
Goldman Sachs leads institutional $XRP ETF holdings
Analysis of second-quarter 13F filings showed that Goldman Sachs had the largest exposure to spot $XRP ETFs, with approximately $87.4 million invested across the funds. Jane Street and Millennium Management followed, with about $16.6 million each.
Investment advisers held and moved the most money among firm categories during the quarter, well ahead of hedge funds and brokerages. The allocation mix suggests that client portfolios are taking a buy-and-hold approach to spot $XRP ETFs.
Canary Capital’s XRPC helped launch US spot $XRP ETFs on November 13. By mid-December, the products had accumulated approximately $1.18 billion in assets and recorded 30 consecutive days of inflows.

Ripple’s legal dispute with the US Securities and Exchange Commission ended in August 2025, after both sides withdrew their appeals while leaving a $125 million penalty in place.
Judge Analisa Torres imposed the penalty a year earlier after ruling in 2023 that $XRP had been sold to institutions as an unregistered security.
According to CoinGecko data, $XRP was trading at approximately $1.35, down 2.44% over 24 hours and 7.07% over the week.
