Grand Theft Auto fans finally saw official GTA VI gameplay on Netflix on Thursday, and the extended footage appears to have lived up to the hype. However, questions remain about the major leaks that surfaced before the trailer’s release.
GTA VI leaker reportedly cashes out $250,000
For roughly a week before the Netflix video debuted, an individual or group known as Cyberleek appeared to have access to a working build of GTA VI. The leaker shared about 15 gameplay clips and screenshots across the internet, while allowing users to vote on what would be revealed next. Those votes were cast using a cryptocurrency meme coin called $CYBERLEEK.

Cyberleek went silent about a day before the Netflix video was released, and the available evidence points to a cash-out. A GTAForums user named Vice Cit, as reported by Kotaku, documented the saga. According to the latest developments, Cyberleek allegedly made approximately $250,000 in cryptocurrency earnings before $CYBERLEEK collapsed.
The coin reached a peak value of $0.034 but has since fallen to $0.005, representing an 86 percent decline. Several questions remain unanswered, especially how Cyberleek obtained the GTA VI footage in the first place.
Based on the leaked gameplay clips, Cyberleek appeared to possess a playable version of Grand Theft Auto VI, although it may have been incomplete. Now that Rockstar Games has provided an official extended look at the title, fans can at least say that GTA VI looks promising.
