Seattle enters the match after a 1-1 draw in Kansas City. Houston is looking to respond after a 1-0 loss to Bay FC last week. The Reign currently occupy the final playoff spot and have a game or two in hand on most teams, while the Dash sit just two points behind them.

The two teams played to a scoreless draw earlier this season in Houston during a rain-soaked defensive battle. Both goalkeepers made five saves to preserve their clean sheets.
Seattle leads the all-time series with an 18-6-6 record, including just two draws and two losses at home. The Reign have scored more than twice as many goals as Houston in the series, holding a 50-22 advantage. However, the Dash remain capable of producing big offensive performances, including a 5-0 victory over Chicago on August 19th that featured four different goalscorers.
