As a model project for securing and training human resources for tourism, the Japan Tourism Agency selected four projects, including a human resource development project implemented by the Shibu Onsen Ryokan Association (Yamanouchi Town, Nagano Prefecture), as a result of public offerings from August to September.
Selected as model projects include the Shibu Onsen x Rikkyo University Next-Generation Tourism Human Resource Development Project by the Shibu Onsen Ryokan Association, a demonstration project by the Ama Town Tourism Industry Attractive Council (Oki District, Shimane Prefecture), and Higashi Village. “Yanbaru Higashi Village Startup Project” by the Tourism Promotion Council (Higashi Village, Okinawa Prefecture), “Development and operation of a tourism education program for solving regional problems by YUKIGUNI Hoiskore, and training of tourism education human resources” by the Yuzawa Town Yamapaku Council (Yuzawa Town, Niigata Prefecture) create.
We will support businesses that work to create a comfortable working environment for diverse human resources and improve the skills of staff. In light of the increase in the number of people leaving their jobs due to the corona crisis, we will create advanced examples of securing and developing human resources.
