MANILA, Philippines β A tugboat sank in the waters of Golo Island, Looc, Occidental Mindoro where three more missing crew members are still being searched for by the search and rescue operation of the Philippine Coast Guard.
According to the captain of the tugboat Betheva 2, Alfie Dangue, they were sailing from South Harbor, Manila to Rio Tuba, Palawan when they encountered a big wave that caused the engine room to flood.
A few moments later, the tugboat completely sank.
π/ππ§ππ ππ ππ«π¨ππ‘ππ«π¬ rescued five of Betheva 2’s eight crew members.
Such a boat took them to Barangay Talaotao, Looc, Occidental Mindoro to provide additional assistance:

According to Captain Dangue, the three missing crew members were aboard a life craft when he last spotted them:
