Bulacan – An unidentified man who fought the authorities is dead while his colleague who robbed a convenience store in the town of Baliwag escaped.
In the report of Bulacan Police Officer-In-Charge PCOL. Relly Arnedo, the incident happened around 1:52 in the morning on October 9 in Brgy. Sullivan.
According to Arnedo, the Baliwag police received a report that a convenience store in the area was robbed and an unknown amount of money was stolen by two men who fled on a motorcycle.
The police immediately conducted a pursuit operation until they spotted the riding in tandem that matched the description of the suspects.
They stopped the tandem, but instead of stopping, it sped away until it was cornered and one of them opened fire.
Due to this, both sides exchanged shots causing one suspect to be blinded while the fellow rider escaped.
