MANILA, Philippines – “The time has come that we bequeath the problem to our next administrations or next generation. Maybe he said it’s time for us to pass on a solution to them.”
This was emphasized by National Irrigation Administration Administrator Benny D. Antiporda at the recently concluded Irrigators Association Congress held in San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija on October 5.
Antiporda went to the province of Nueva Ecija to show and make the farmers aware of the Upper Pampanga River Integrated Irrigation Systems
(UPRIIS) is the real concern of NIA.
He also called on the farmers under the jurisdiction of UPRIIS to be heroic in order to clean the canals and facilities that were affected by typhoon Karding.
It also mentioned the food security programs of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Antiporda also said that the main goal of NIA is to continue providing services to the people.
The IA Congress was organized by NIA-UPRIIS led by Engr. Rosalinda Bote.
Vice Governor Anthony Umali also attended the gathering. elsa navallo
