MANILA, Philippines – Several parts of roads in Metro Manila will be temporarily closed to motorists for repairs this weekend starting at 11 p.m. on Friday, October 7.
According to the Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region, the rehabilitation of parts of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Quezon City will be carried out which include:
North bound, EDSA Carousel Bus Lane Santolan MRT Station
North bound, EDSA Carousel Bus Lane after Boni Serrano to P. Tuazon Avenue
North bound following Aurora Boulevard to Kamuning
Third lane mula sidewalk (intermittent section)
South from Balingasa Creek to Oliveros Footbridge.
Other affected road sections in Quezon City are:
North bound Fairview Avenue between Yakal Street and Milano Drive, second lane from the sidewalk
North bound of Cloverleaf EDSA to segment NLEX south bound
South bound of Roosevelt Avenue near the corner of EDSA south bound
Payatas Road near AMLAC Ville Subdivision.
DPWH will also repair the C-5 Road, KM 15+171 to KM 15+665 truck lane in Pasig City.
One day-curing concrete will be used for repairs to reopen sections of the road by 5 a.m. on Monday, October 9.
Such road repair will be carried out after DPWH is given clearance by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority or MMDA. Jocelyn Tabangcura-Domenden
