MANILA, Philippines – Members of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s infrastructure team will meet next week. in a forum organized by the Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines (EJAP) and MVP Group of Companies to discuss the plans and projects lined up by the government for the next six years.
The EJAP-MVP Group Infrastructure Forum, with the theme “The Road Ahead: Priorities for the Next 6 Years” will be held on Monday, October 10, at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.
The purpose of EJAP is to discuss the administration’s short and medium term plans for the country’s infrastructure labeled as the backbone of the economy.
Department of Information and Communications Technology Secretary Ivan John Uy will share the initiative regarding the construction of digital infrastructure to make government services more effective.
Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista will discuss the key projects for the land, sea and air transportation sectors.
Energy Secretary Raphael Perpetuo Lotilla’s speech will clarify the agency’s efforts to strengthen economic recovery by encouraging more investments in the energy sector.
