MANILA, Philippines – The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect and is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms to Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao this Friday, PAGASA reported.
Visayas, Palawan, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will have cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms caused by the ITCZ with possible flooding or landslides soil due to moderate to sometimes heavy rainfall.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ and localized thunderstorms with possible flooding or landslides in during severe thunderstorms.
