AMMAN (Reuters) – U.S. forces were involved in a dawn raid in Syria’s Qamishli region in northeastern Syria where the target was an ISIS operative, a senior U.S. military official told Reuters on Thursday.
US Central Command spokesman Colonel Joseph Buccino gave no further details about the operation, which local sources said was carried out in the government-held village of Muluk Saray in the northeastern province of Hasakeh.
