State power highlights North Korean ballistic missile issue Democracy focuses on criticism of text messages from the Board of Audit and Inspection

While the People’s Power criticized the Moon Jae-in administration’s ‘North Korea peace show’ for causing a security crisis, the People’s Power criticized North Korea’s missile provocations, while the Democratic Party of Korea raised a text message controversy over the text message of Yoo Byung-ho, secretary-general of the Board of Audit and Inspection. He warned that he would not be left unattended.

Regarding North Korea’s successive missile provocations, Jeong Jin-seok, chairman of the People’s Power Emergency Response Committee, said, “The low-status diplomacy and peace show of the Moon administration over the past five years has brought about a total security crisis.”

Chairman Jeong Jin-seok said at a meeting of the non-commissioned committee on the morning of the 6th, “North Korea has gained time over the past five years to solidify its status as a nuclear weapons state and to secure considerable capabilities of ballistic missiles by lightening its nuclear weapons.”

Regarding North Korea’s firing of a short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) early in the morning when a US nuclear-powered aircraft carrier entered the East Sea, he said, “It’s a challenge to go until it goes to the US.” came in,” he said.

“North Korea has made it clear that it intends to bomb U.S. military bases in Guam and Okinawa to block the dispatch of U.S. reinforcements in the event of a military clash in case of an emergency on the Korean Peninsula.” No one can be certain that it will automatically intervene in an armed conflict in North Korea,” he added.

“Now we are in a situation where we have to live with nuclear weapons in our heads. Was President Moon Jae-in incompetent or ignorant, who believed in the promises made by Kim Jong-un?”

“The Moon Jae-in administration broke the Korea-US alliance. The past five years, when key figures of the US government, an ally, were suspicious of former President Moon Jae-in, were a terrible diplomatic disaster.

He also urged the opposition parties to cooperate so that even a resolution condemning North Korea’s intermediate-range ballistic missile launch can be quickly adopted.

The Democratic Party raised the level of offensive against the controversy over direct reports from the Board of Audit and Inspection to the President’s office and the controversy over President Yoon’s satirical cartoon ‘Yun Seok Train’.

Park Hong-geun, floor leader of the Democratic Party, commented on the disclosure of text messages from Yoo Byung-ho, secretary-general of the Board of Audit and Inspection, reporting the situation to the presidential office, and said, “The reality is that the auditor, who claimed to be the hound of the regime, underwent political audits and audits under the direction of whose instructions. It became clear,” he said.

Park Hong-geun, floor leader of the floor, said at a meeting of the parliamentary audit on the morning of the same day, saying, “They say it is an independent institution under the Constitution, but it was the president’s office behind the scenes that drew the blade toward the former president.”

He urged the resignation of Chairman Choi Jae-hae and President Yoo, saying, “I will not sit down with the Audit Office, which has been reduced to a dual role of the government assault force and the prosecution.”

“The collusion between the Office of the President and the Board of Audit and Inspection is a major national disturbance that shakes the foundation of the Board of Audit and Inspection, which is politically neutral,” he said.

Regarding the controversy over President Yoon’s satirical cartoon ‘Yun Seok Train’, he said, “The Yoon Seok-yeol administration did not have undue pressure on the media, so it started censoring high school students’ sketchbooks. Are you asking me to get government permission for freedom of expression and creativity?” he asked.

In relation to the cost of relocating the presidential office, floor leader Park criticized the Yoon Seok-yeol administration as ‘snipping’, saying that the government is passing the cost on to ministries and local governments.

“I spent 2 billion won for the purchase of kitchen appliances and furniture necessary for the presidential residence, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, the budget for strengthening security screening in the presidential office, the budget for the Ministry of Science and Technology, and 1.1 billion won from the citizens of Seoul before the fire brigade in the presidential office,” he said. It is a problem to squeeze the budget that each ministry has to spend to cover the relocation costs, but hiding it from the public’s eyes is a bigger problem,” he pointed out.

“The hasty transfer of the presidential office is a waste of blood tax and a deception of the people. Far from dissolving the allegations, only the justification of the state investigation is being strengthened,” he said.
