17-year-old Albert is a member of the UST varsity team, while younger sister Jenn is preparing to join Batang Pinoy in December, as well as the qualifying series for the selection of members who will compete in the Southeast Asian Age Group championship next year. year.
“I am grateful that my brothers and I were chosen to be with the TYR Ambassador. It is a big thing to increase the support for us so that we can participate in more tournaments,” said Albert in the program sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Games and Amusements Board (GAB), Pagcor and Behrouz Persian Cuisine.
The Grade 9 students Polancos and Pabellon are from the General Santos Swimming Club and both have excellent marks in the local junior competition including the Batang Pinoy where 13-year-old Saira created a mark in the butterfly event.
“I’ll try my very best and train hard to achieve my dream of breaking more junior national records. Thank you to TYR, my coach and my parents for guidance and support,” said Saira.
14-year-old San Diego is among the 21 scholars under the administration of the National Academy in Sports (NAS) in Clark City, while 13-year-old Seb.RICO NAVARRO is a product of the Philippine Science High School.
