MANILA, Philippines – The Taguig City Police strongly refuted the spreading reports of increasing incidents of robbery and murder in Bonifacio Global City.

“The Taguig City Police denies a social media posting claiming rampant robbery incidents in Bonifacio Global City that resulted in the death of victims,” ​​said the city police in a statement in response to a viral post on social media that said that the crime in the business district especially in front of financial institutions.

Following the viral post, the police held a dialogue with security agencies in the area, including the security firm responsible for the security of the building in question.

Police said the security firm “categorically stated that no such robbery-holdup incidents were officially reported to them or brought to their attention.”
