MANILA, Philippines- Vice President Sara Duterte is finalizing the report on her first 100 in office as the country’s second highest official.
“We are preparing the 100 days report of the Office of the Vice President (OVP),” he said this Wednesday.
The current Vice President, who is the son of former President Rodrigo Duterte, is the 15th vice president of the Philippines.
Duterte also serves as Department of Education (DepEd) secretary.
“We will submit that to the Department of Education to the Office of the President (OP) because they are asking for it,” he continued.
Under Duterte, the OVP provides medical and burial assistance from July 1.
His office also assigned five buses as part of its “Libreng Sakay” program in Metro Manila, Davao City, Cebu, and Bacolod to help with public transportation during peak hours.
He also opened seven satellite offices in Dagupan, Cebu, Tacloban, Zamboanga, Davao, Bacolod City, and Tandag, Surigao del Sur to bring OVP services closer to the people.
Duterte also aims to assign an official residence for the second highest official in the country which according to him will benefit those who follow him. RNT/SA
