(NewsNation) — Authorities at the US southern border continue to sound the alarm over the amount of rainbow-colored fentanyl they seize at the border, sparking renewed concern after fentanyl was found in a Lego box.
Law enforcement analyst Mark Powell told NewsNation’s “Rush Hour” on Wednesday that the fentanyl issue at the southern border needs to be addressed urgently.
“We lose 175 people every day because of fentanyl. Can you imagine if we lose a lot of people in plane crashes every day?” said Powell. “The condemnation will be huge, people will call the FAA, the phone will ring.”
