Only 12% are “Equivalent to Category 2”

In August, Teikoku Databank conducted a survey of companies across Japan regarding the reclassification of new coronavirus infections. According to the survey, 51.1% of the companies wished to operate in a class 5 equivalent.

We asked about the desirable positioning of the companies in conducting their own corporate activities. The most common type is 5, more than half, or 51.1%. On the other hand, only 12.3% of the companies will maintain the equivalent of Category 2.

In addition, 26.4% said they couldn’t say either way, and 10.1% said they didn’t know. Approximately 30% of businesses are undecided, saying, “If possible, I’d like to move to Category 5 and treat it like influenza, but there are so many infected people that I can’t make a decision between Category 2 and Category 5.” was taken.
