MANILA, Philippines – A young girl died instantly after jumping from a footbridge in Quezon City.
The police are still trying to identify the victim, who is estimated to be between 12 and 15 years old.
Based on the report of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD)-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU), at around 2:42 in the morning when the incident occurred on the footbridge located on Quezon Avenue, Brgy. Sta. Teresita, QC
In the account of two witnesses to the incident, they were said to be walking on the footbridge when they saw the victim standing there.
They said they were very surprised when for unknown reasons the victim suddenly jumped and died immediately due to severe injuries to his head and body.
The victim’s body has been taken to the funeral home for an autopsy. Jan Sinocruz
