Navotas police chief Col. Dexter Ollaging identified the suspect as Carlito Lorito Jr., 27, resident of Bustos, Bulacan.
According to Col. Ollaging, the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) received information that the presence of the accused was spotted along M. Naval St., Brgy. Sipac-Almacen, Navotas City so they conducted validation in that area.
When the report was positive, WSS and Sub-Station 2 personnel led by P/Major Felix Vanancio Rivera immediately conducted a joint manhunt operation that resulted in the arrest of the accused at 3:30 pm in the said area.
Lorito was arrested by the police pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by Judge Cecilia B. Parallag of the Family Court Branch 9, Navotas City for the case of Rape and sexual assault. Boysan Buenaventura
