MANILA, Philippines – Three suspected drug personalities are in jail after being arrested in separate buy bust operations by the police in Malabon City.
According to Malabon police chief Col. Albert Barot, around 11:45 p.m. on Monday when operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement (SDEU) conducted a buy bust operation in Pampano St., Brgy. Longos where an undercover police was able to transact P500 worth of drugs with their target, Henry Gososo, 42, ice vendor.
After accepting the marked money from the police poseur buyer in exchange for a sachet of drugs, the operatives immediately grabbed Gososo, along with his accomplice, Manor Reyes alias “Beng”, 54, car painter.
According to PMSg Randy Billedo, 7.05 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P47,940 were confiscated from the suspects while one cal. 9mm with a magazine loaded with five bullets, buy bust money, weighing scale, scissors, pocket notebook and motorcycle were recovered from Gososo.
Around 3 o’clock in the morning when the other SDEU team of the Malabon police also caught Rolly Espinueva alias “Buboy”, 38, (pusher/listed) in a buy bust operation at P.Aquino Avenue, Brgy Tonsuya.
His accomplice, Ailene Dacut, 33, had a chance to escape and took the P500 buy buy bust money after Buboy surrendered to the operatives while being arrested. Approximately 8.70 grams of suspected shabu with a value of P59,160 was recovered from Buboy.
According to PSSg Jerry Basungit, the suspects are facing a charge of violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act while Gososo will face an additional charge of violation of RA 10591. Boysan Buenaventura
