In the event that he does not appear at the IID and fails to submit a letter of explanation, it means that he waives the right to present his side and the agency will make a decision based on the evidence presented.
According to the report of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Traffic Sector 3, the driver was driving his truck along the Katipunan flyover in Barangay Escopa 3 in Quezon City on September 27 when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle which resulted in the collision of several vehicles injuring several individuals and heavy traffic flow.
“These kinds of accidents create further anxiety and worries among our motorists regarding the safety of our roads. That is why the LTO continues to intensify its anti-drunk and drugged driving campaign efforts among private vehicles and public utility vehicles to weed out these drivers from our roads for the safety of other motorists and even pedestrians,” giit ni LTO chief Assistant Secretary Teofilo Guadiz III.
